Happy meal for 180YEN

Santiful Mikuni, the roofed shopping st. near Mikuni Station, has a variety of foods for very reasonable prices!!

This is a very famous boxed Japanese to go meal, BENTO. Bento means boxed lunch and it usually has rice, one or two side dishes, a bit of vegetable and pickles. You can find shops specializing in bento at many places.

And an incredible place is here. The shop is called "IROHA". They sell prepared daily dishes, salad to go and bento, etc. Their prices are really reasonable all the day already, BUT WAIT!!!

After 18:00(they close at 19:00), bargain time is going on!!!

The picture below, the both bento have a sticker that says 100YEN discount. Unbelievably, the original price is 280YEN.

A bento for 180YEN!!!  And it is not a meal for trash, it  is really tasty, so everybody happy.

World of 100 YEN

What we call "Hyakkin",  is a shop that has everything or "most of what they have" is 100JPY.
Sometimes consumption tax which is 5% is not included, in this case the price will be 105JPY.
They have a variety of items such as tableware, stationery, snacks and what you might
think everything you need. There is a couple of them near CaminoRo and as a visitor,
it would worth visiting for you!!

CaminoRo Osaka, becoming internationalized

It's a quiet Sunday afternoon. Many of the shops on our roofed shopping street are closed on Sundays and for some shops Monday as well. It is so quiet and peaceful around this neighborhood, though crowds and noises of Umeda, north downtown, and busy waves of Shinkansen and all the train lines of Shin-Osaka are right there. I love this contrast and we hope to serve more guests from all over the world with this environment.

Today, the flowers have reached full bloom! It is a gift from the Swedish guys who stayed with us this week.
Thanks guys for giving more color to CaminoRo!
We've had some guests so far and that's been great experiences for us. The weather is very nice at this season to visit Japan. We have the bed for your night in Osaka, come and Join us!!

Observatory hot-spring resort in Shin Osaka

We, all Japanese, love Onsen or hot-spring resorts. A lot of people enjoy neighborhood public bath-house, sento, or travel to a hot-spring resort located outside of the city once in a while. It is one of the important aspects of Japanese culture. And there is this new type of sento called "super sento." It is a conveniently located public bath-house with usually "natural" hot-spring and it has a small restaurant or at least a place where you can relax with light snack and drinks after taking a bath. Not surprising at all in Japan, but they dig the land under the property and take natural hot-spring for the bath. And the number of these places have been increasing recently.

There is one near CaminoRo, which is the best in my experiences. It is called "Hinatano-yu" and is located not only conveniently, but also on the top of a nine storied building. The facilities are super clean overall. It has a nice waiting room with free foot bath, outside bath with great view and its natural hot water is really outstanding. It will be a problem if you have a tatoo on your body, if not, it may be a must activity while staying with us!!  Don't worry, everyone is naked, so you don't need to be shy!

it is in Japanese, but you can have some idea of what and how it is.
